Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng led a parliamentary delegation to Fujian from 8 to 11 June 2026 as part of his Official Visit to China.

At the invitation of His Excellency Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the PRC, Speaker Seah Kian Peng undertook an Official Visit to China from 8 to 13 June 2026, accompanied by Members of Parliament Mr Liang Eng Hwa, Ms Sylvia Lim, Ms Poh Li San, Dr Wan Rizal, Ms Elysa Chen, and Mr Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari.

Speaker warmly engaged with overseas Singaporeans living and working in Fujian at a reception and held meetings with Secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee Zhou Zuyi and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Xiamen Municipal People’s Congress Yang Guohao. The delegation also visited Singapore companies including PSA and ST Engineering facilities in Fujian, as well as Chinese companies and Jimei University.
